Overview

Anchor stops ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini from jumping to new replies while you read higher up. This privacy policy explains what information Anchor handles and what it does not.

Anchor is designed to be privacy-minimal. It does not track you while you use those chat sites, does not sell personal information, and does not operate its own servers for user data.

The one narrow exception: if you remove Anchor from Chrome, Chrome may open an optional “why are you leaving?” form (see below). Turning Anchor off in the popup does not open that form.

Information we do not collect

While Anchor is installed, it does not collect, read, store on our servers, or transmit:

• Your chat conversations, prompts, or responses
• Account credentials or cookies
• Browsing history outside the chat sites where the extension runs
• Analytics, advertising identifiers, or ongoing tracking
• Files, contacts, location, or payment information

Anchor does not sell user data and does not share user data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Anchor stores only what it needs on your device:
